Using the Align AI Settings

The Align AI feature allows AI to align themselves to slopes and surfaces. Users should disable this setting if using a full body IK system like Final IK.

To enable the Align AI feature, simple enable the Align AI setting within the Movement Component within the Alignment Settings. When Align AI is enabled, it will show various options for adjusting how an AI aligns with slopes.

Important: The Alignment Layers must be set by the user and is dependent on the layers within a project. By default, the Alignment Layers is set to Default. This means an AI will align themselves to all layers that have the Default layer on them.
